Just a 15 minute drive North of Ubud you will discover Villa Bayad, a sanctuary set in a stunning 8000sq metre garden surrounded by views of the staggering Mount Agung, rice paddies and luscious jungle greenery. It is traditional in Balinese features and is laid out in a compound style with a main house and four separate bedroom bungalows. The Villa has been designed by Popo Danes, one of South East Asia’s most renowned architects, designed with tranquillity and relaxation throughout. Twelve friendly staff are on hand to tend to your every need throughout your stay, and you also have use of a daily shuttle service to and from Ubud. The main living space consists of a lounge and dining area which opens out from a large veranda with magnificent views, there is a fully equipped open kitchen where you can enjoy meals on demand or create your culinary masterpieces, then relax after dinner in the air conditioned media room. Out into the beautiful landscaped garden you will find coconut palms, fruit trees, lotus ponds and waterfalls. If you are feeling more energetic then you can take advantage of the mountain bikes to explore the local countryside.
Bedrooms
Each of the four bedrooms are housed in their own unique and luxurious bungalow, connected via flower-clad pergolas with their own private furnished verandas, walled garden and outdoor showers. All of the bungalows boast cable TV & DVD players and sumptuous luxury bedding and towels. Two of the bedrooms are connected to the main house, overlooking a multi-level fish pond where you can relax with the calm trickle of water behind you. Whilst the other two are connected to an open kitchen and dining bale, a spring-water plunge pool and deck make for a more intimate setting. The Main House and smaller villa can also be rented as separate 2 bedroom properties.
