With such a commanding position high above the Indian Ocean you know that the Sohamsa Ocean Estate is something special. It has the views, roomy living space and a total of nine bedrooms. Not to mention two pools, a private gym, massage room and sauna with steam room. This means you and up to 18 friends or family members can share this paradise oasis. Not only does this villa have the hardware but the team of staff provides its heart. They are there to help bring the personal touch to your holiday and make sure you have the dream vacation. And all this is located a short 30-minute drive from the airport and within easy reach to the best beaches, top restaurants and the fanciest hangout spots. The imposing reclaimed ironwood doors open to reveal the villas - Villa Soham a five bedroom haven and Villa Hamsa with its handsom four bedrooms. As you enter the multi-level Villa Soham on the first floor it’s made up of its own living space, media room and large veranda. Together with dining options, powder room and kitchen. The bedrooms are spread over the floor above and one below, with the large gym, sauna and steam room on the lowest floor. The layout at Villa Hamsa is slightly different. As you enter the large living pavilion it leads out to the veranda, then swimming pool and master bedroom just beyond that, with its very own cliff edge private deck. The other bedrooms are found through a semi-subterranean passageway which you can reach from either side of the living area. Both of the living areas are large, allowing light to flood in and for you to enjoy the remarkable views. Throughout the villas you will find a mix of air-conditioning but also open spaces meaning the breeze will naturally keep you cool. All of the living spaces offer plenty of places to chill out or get together - be it the coffee cables or rattan chairs. If you want to catch a movie head for the media room with ocean view, small courtyard and 48-inch TV. In Villa Hamsa it may not be an individual media room but the living area had a large 42-inch TV. And of course, both living areas have tall glass doors so that the views of the ocean below can be enjoyed by all. When mealtime comes you can choose to eat with up to 10 of you in the dining terrace – tasty alfresco meals with views to match. After all that food the gym has all the latest gear to keep you in shape. And to wind down hit the sauna and steam room to sweat it out. Outside is the 22-metre infinity pool, blending with the waters over the cliff edge. And nearby you’ll find the grand poolside bale with kitchenette and bar counter. Here, take a seat with your cocktail on hand as you gaze at the sunset. Or perhaps make use of the barbecue area.
